Function Facility Hire Terms & Conditions
A £100 deposit is required to secure a booking.
An additional (refundable) bond of £100 is required in case of any damage to club premises or facilities.
If the kitchen facilities are hired, please note that the bond deposited may be subject to forfeit (in part of in full) if additional cleaning is required after use. Also exclusive use of the kitchen may not be possible.
If kitchen facilities are hired:
i) Users must provide an appropriate Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate in advance.
ii) Users must provide their own cooking equipment, utensils, crockery and cutlery.
iii) Users must provide own cooking oil (or pay for replacement) if using the deep fat fryer. Such usage to be
arranged in advance.
If arranging own catering or providing own buffets this is at the hirers own risk and we recommend:
i) Chilled buffets are not on display any longer than 4 hours (arrangements can be made to store food in the
Club fridge prior to the function start time, if required).
ii) Hot buffets are maintained at an appropriate temperature or are displayed for no longer than 2 hours.
If drinks are brought in (by arrangement) a corkage charge will be levied and must be paid in advance.
The hirer is responsible for ensuing Club property, facilities and equipment are respected at all times and are liable for any costs incurred by the club to remedy any loss or damage caused, even if such costs exceed the bond deposited.
The Club reserves the right to require security staff to be employed (by the hirer and at the hirer’s cost). Any security employed must be appropriately licensed and sufficient to meet the expectations of the Club. Details of the security
firm employed must be provided at least 2 weeks before the event.
The hirer may be required to provide an invite list to be used to control numbers attending.
Use of function room equipment (e.g. projectors, audio etc) is not permitted unless specifically agreed as part of the hire arrangements and detailed on the booking form.
Parents / guardians shall be responsible, at all times, for the supervision of any children attending the function.
Club staff must be respected at all times and the hirer must ensure any direction given by Club staff is followed (the bond may be subject to forfeit in the event of unacceptable behaviour).
Whilst we encourage guests to utilise the outside space available, we ask that guests keep off the playing surfaces at all times.
No food or drink may be brought on the Club premises without prior management agreement.
Guests may be asked to leave the premises in the event of:
i) Abuse or threatening behaviour towards staff
ii) Abuse or threatening behaviour towards other guests.
iii) Anyone found to bring their own food or drink on site without prior management agreement.
Management reserve the right to close the function if guests fail to leave the premises immediately when asked to do so or in the event such behaviours persist.
